Da Ban Restaurant @ Jalan Zainal Abidin, Penang

Wondering where can get a genuine sze chuan food in town? Da Ban Restaurant is your choice（大班）. Yup, the decoration of the restaurant is so "China", what by means that is bamboos, china style everything!! This restaurant is located @ Jalan Zainal Abidin, the road that just opposite Tune Hotel or Little Cottage Cafe @ Jalan Burma. The Ambiance in the restaurant is good, chinese ochestra songs played, makes you feels like you are really in china. No more talking crap. Picture shows the magic.







The pre-dishes is served, the ikan bilis and seaweed.

The seaweed is marinated, i think, coz it is a bit spicy...


The sauces..get a mix on it...

We also get "xiang pian" as our drinks.Thought might drink tea is better..lol




We ordered a "yin yeung" steambot which consist of plain soup and sze chuan spicy soup. which is their 2 person set steambot.



The dishes, it contains prawns,balls,seaweed...and many...really enough for 2 person.

Besides steambot, we order an extra dishes, which was the spicy oil dumpling.



Spicy......ya spicy...

Overall, the taste is not bad, but i miss the sze chuan style restaurant in KL...金山城(located near pudu)& 重庆(located @ sunway,opposite to yuen steambot)..lol might find some time and go to KL...
