Yaki Yaki Japanese BBQ Buffet

Japanese BBQ buffet, Located @ Federal Bowl, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Off Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang Central. The environment is not bad and some of the place is barrier by waterways. It is a quite unique design but not a very convenient for eaters that likes to walk in and out taking those foods. So some might juz "fly over" the waterways. As my english not very good to describe, picture would be the best evidence!!!

Actually, for comparison, i will think Tenji serve better japanese foods, but Yaki Yaki owned a speciality which is BURN BURN BURN!!!! haha... There were a lots of beef from different part of cow can be order, and the also many seafood, raw food to be BURN BURN BURN. Besides, the cooked food and desserts are not bad. You can order an ice-blended juice specially made @ the bar stand. NOT BAD....

Recommendation visit during promotion time, coz promotion is cheaper than original price!!hahaha

Pasta Zanmai @ One Utama, KL

I was told by my friend that there was a shop named as Pasta Zanmai, and yup it is same like Sushi Zanmai, only serving different types of foods. Pasta Zanmai----of course serving pasta la...It is like a fusion pasta with japanese cuisine, such as Unagi pasta, hamburger meat, sesame sauce and many many more. The price is ranging from 20-30MYR. Although it is a bit expensive, but the price comes by set or a-la-carte. Set meal will be including a salad and a misou soup.

Lets take a look at my pics..although i took only 3 picture..hehe...

Gundam Expo @ Gurney Plaza

The expo is a bit disappointing but it is good that penang hobby lovers like me have a place to go.

It is the first time, i think, that penang has such expo but it is not quite a big event. And the gundam they sell are a bit expensive for me. Overall is not bad. I saw my guru was participating in the competition.

There were still some high standard gunpla, sad case is my handphone is out of battery, where i can't take anymore pictures...LOL, the psycho gundam is also nice!!!

Gundam Collection of Mine (OTAKU)...

I have been involving of gunpla modelling i think 1 and a half years ago. I have been so interested in this plastic model since i was very very very kiddo, the question that i didnt own them till 1 and a half years ago is the PRICE!!! The price selling in shopping complex is too expensive for me, until i found a shop in KL, located at cheras. They are selling cheaper gundam. This is not advertising, but if you want to know juz leave comments.

My first collection is MBF-P01-Re2 Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina Custom. I was amazed by the golden shiny coated frame. As for first time, i have no experience for colouring, as from hobby link japan (HLJ) explanation, this gunpla will look nice without colouring. It is a 1/100 NG(no grade) plamo (plastic model). Here are the pics.

The original colour....

The one i attempted to whitening....lol
Yup, i bought 2 gold frame...the white colour is as experimental.

The story started when i visited one of my friend in penang island (Looi), we were planning to buy air brush, and we were searching all over penang for cheap air brush, as we were student and we were not affordable to buy air brush....(don't laugh at me..hehe). Until we found a shop just behind ONE STOP SHOPPING COMPLEX @ Pulau Tikus. The shop name DESIRE, at first we were curious as the banner there were written as DESIRE SALOON??---then there was another banner outside the shop written as DESIRE HOBBY SHOP...we were like WTF??where is the hobby shop then...we were not dare to step in the shop, but finally we also went in.

Thank god we went inside, and we met out first guru, Alvin, the owner of the shop. The shop has a part that used to display gunpla..and the gunplas are so BEAUtiful!!! The shop owner told us, he is using the spray can from the hardware store...OMG, he is the one who breaks our myth!!!

As rumours says that the hardware store spray can will have corrosive effect on those platics.
The method to use the spray can will post at another blog, and with the gunpla of Alvin.

BaK Kut Teh King @ Gurney Plaza Penang

Juz visited Penang Gurney Plaza to watch the gundam expo there, it is quite disappointing that the gundam they selling there is more expensive than my expectation. The price they selling i can get 2 models that i buy in KL. HAHA, i am not advertising...as i am also a GUNPLA lover.

As hunger sends signals through the nerve to my brain that i need some fuel for the body, i started looking for food. Juz beside the CHOPPER BOARD, we found a shop named BAK KUT TEH KING. Me and my darling went into and have a try.

We ordered a 2 person set lunch which got 2 types of bak kut teh, soup & dry, and beansprouts, tea leaf eggs, desserts, "yao char koai" and tea as drinks

Bottom: Fried Duck Egg by extra order
My favourite- Duck Egg Fried Koay Teow. Located in 3 places in Bkt Mertajam, I think all BM guy should know.. I have been eating the koay teow for many years since i was in primary school i think, the stalls is operate by two brothers which located at Taxi Station BM and the other's location is quite hard to describe and there is one more which is at the Train Station.

The Koay Teow was fried by using charcoal as heat source and not gas....this makes the koay teow delicious....juz try it out!!!

The Wan Ton Mee and Lou Xu Fun, their "fun" is self made, the char xiu for the Wan Ton Mee is very delicious, and the minced pork for the Lou Xu Fun also good...I just don't know how to describe the taste. Whereas for Tom Yum Mee, the soup is a challenge for someone who can't eat spicy food...coz this one is not kidding!!!!
